A few of our bottles took a trip to London recently. Big awards ceremony, the Waldorf, black tie, the lot. We stayed home in Caloundra and kept the stills running.
Turns out the bottles did alright for themselves.
At the World Drinks Awards 2026. judged blind, against the best on the entire planet, here's how the Sunshine Coast crew got on:
- 🥃 Koala Native Citrus Gin — Gold
- 🌿 Native Plum & Sloe Gin — Country Winner and Gold
- 🍋 Lemon Myrtle Liqueur — Country Winner and Gold
And over at the Icons of Drinks 2026, the humans got a mention too:
- 🏆 Steve, our Master Distiller — Highly Commended for Master Distiller of the Year. That's one of the best distillers in the world, officially. He'll hate that we put it in writing.
- ♻️ Beachtree — Highly Commended for Sustainable Distillery of the Year. Second year running.
The Bit That Actually Matters
Every brand calls itself "award-winning." It's wallpaper at this point. So here's the difference worth knowing: these were judged blind.
No labels. No logos. No backstory, no charm offensive. Just what's in the glass, tasted against the finest spirits on earth, and ours held their own. It follows being named World's Best Craft Producer in both 2024 and 2025.
Cane, Not Grain
Here's what we're genuinely proud of. While most of the world distills from grain, we make everything from organic Queensland sugarcane, fermented and distilled from scratch, in-house, powered by Sunshine Coast sun.
No bulk neutral spirit. No additives. No shortcuts. Just a slightly unconventional idea that keeps quietly beating the traditionalists at their own game.
Taste What London Got Excited About
No black-tie invite required, just a glass. The award-winners are in the shop now, and we ship Australia-wide 🇦🇺, Coast to the furthest corner of the country. And as always, when you sip, we plant. 🌱
Grain built the industry. Cane changed it. And in 2026, the world caught on. 🍸
